Wendy, Thank You for what you set up. We had a fabulous time and toughest part was leaving there. I could do a full on travel show about what we experienced along with the couple hundred pictures we took. So here goes:
HOTEL WATERFORD 20MAY
My God, what a place! Elegant, stately, huge grounds along a river among the trees to take a long walk. Room was incredible, food fabulous, service exceptional. The F&B manager brought champagne & chocolates to our room after dinner for my birthday because we slipped out before she could do something special. Didn’t want to leave.

We left Cork and drove to Ballybunion. We had such a wonderful time we stayed two nights at the 19th lodge (a wonderful B&B owned by Mary Beasley don’t you know) adjacent to the Ballybunion Golf Course. Rated the 7th best course in the world and no one should go close to Ballybunion without playing it. Small town about the size of RSF with the most wonderful people, beer, and food. Of course we became regulars at O’Connors pub and restaurant!
